National Lipstick Day

Yesturday was National Lipstick Day! In honor of this day, I want to share my two lipsticks I wear daily and can't live without! Pictured above is "Diva" by M.A.C. I love this vampy shade because it can be worn from day to night, it's extremely build-able, and is works great as a lip stain. Below is "Twig" by M.A.C. as well. This shade is my everyday wear. It's a great neutral and gives just enough color to brighten up your skin when you don't feel like wearing any makeup.

• Bobbi Brown's Repair Foundation in "Warm Beige". Great product! This acts more like a tinted moisturizer with skin nourishing ingredients. It gives you a natural glow and has a light to medium coverage. I don't recommend it to people with oily skin. 
• Maybelline's Dream Sun Matte bronzing powder in "Matte Medium."
• Covergirl's Bombshell Volume by LashBlast Mascara. A magical mascara for you ladies out there with thin short lashes like me.
• Flower's Defining Brow Pencil in "Dark Brown." This brand is owned by Drew Barrymore and can be found at your local WalMart! This brow pencil is amazing because it fill in your brows naturally without looking overly done. It comes with a built in sharpener!
• "Twig" lipstick by M.A.C.
• "Diva" Lipstick by M.A.C.

Service for Your Lips

I don't know about you guys, but with the cold weather coming up, my hands, hair, face, and lips become extremely dry. I can not go a day without lipstick and during the winter time, to keep my lips in perfect condition for lipstick I use these two products. It takes less than 5 minutes!

Fresh Sugar Lip Polish : This product is pretty much the "good stuff." Take a little dollop on your finger and scrub it all over your lips. I like to do it twice a week. The formula is rich and you can instantly feel your lips being conditioned right away. Then rinse off with warm water and your lips will feel super soft and renewed.

Bobbi Brown Lip Balm :  Put this under your lipstick or wear it by itself and your bound to have moisturized lips all day. The reason why I love this lip balm is because it's not sticky and you don't have to reapply all the time. The formula isn't glossy nor is it matte, it leaves a natural sheen for healthy looking lips. Apply this after the "Fresh Sugar Lip Polish" for the perfect compliment.

First Snow

Hello snowfall. It didn't snow hard enough to cancel classes, but oh well. At least I got to whip out my ankle boots that I bought from H&M. They are so comfy to walk in all day. I also threw on a basic brown and black tunic with my leather detailed at the knee legging, leopard scarf, mustard knit beanie and a parka to keep me super warm. Added dark lips for the winter mood; I'm wearing MAC's satin finish in "Media." Such a brilliant color. It brightens up my skin instantly. I can't wait for more snowy days to come! Although driving in it isn't very pleasant.
