Sunday Mixed Prints

I love mixing fun prints together and so I couldn't resist putting my favorite top with this cute snakeskin printed dress. The key to mixing prints is paying attention to the size of the prints and color. So say you want to mix floral; a large floral print mixed with a small floral print would work. Focus on the color story as well; do you want to keep things tonal like how I did above? or do you want a more colorful color story? From my experience, anything with stripes do well together, but make sure you focus on the sizing of the stripes. Share with me your mix print outfits! GOOD LUCK!

The Koffee Addict X Lola Daisy Photography Pt. 2 : My Perfect Summer Dress

I'm a sucker for V-necks, but if there is a V-neck AND a V-back?!....I'm obsessed. I saw this dress and immediately fell in love with the pattern, fit, and how one sleeve is ruffled and the other is a spaghetti strap. Once again, thank you to my talented friend Stephanie Lopez for the beautiful photos!

Nighttime Skincare Basics.

I don't know how many times I've said this on my blog, but I'll say it again, Hi, My name is Kanree and I am a skincare fanatic. Having a great skincare routine is really beneficial no matter what age you are. It helps enhance your makeup look, gives you that natural glow and sometimes all you need is a swipe of mascara and a lip since your skin is that good. Here are my skincare basics that I have used, are still using, and HIGHLY recommend.

Click on blue links for products.

Top Left: Clarisonic 'The Oasis Collection' Mia 2. I've recently just purchased my first Clarisonic and can I just say that I don't know how I've survived without it. For those of you who don't know what a Clarisonic is; it's pretty much a battery operated rotating/vibrating brush that helps you cleanse your skin. Just simply wet your face, apply your cleanser to your face or brush and let the Clairsonic do it's magic. The Clarisonic cleanses 6 times better than cleansing with your hands and helps your nighttime skincare products absorb into your skin since your skin will be more receptive to the products after cleansing. I have noticed a change in my skin after only a week of using it and I couldn't be more happier. The photo above is the kit I purchased.

Top Right: Clarins Cleansing Milk. No water needed! I use this in combination with my Clarisonic. This cleanser has a gel/creamy/milk/ texture and all you have to do is apply to your face and massage into your face then rinse. My first time using it I thought it was weird not using water, but I found that this product balances out my skin tone and makes it more radiant, not to mention it smells great.

Bottom Left: Neutrogena Naturals Night Cream. This product simply hydrates and restores your tired skin from your long day. When I'm too lazy to do anything else to my face I put this on because I never go to bed without having at least some sort of skin care product. You can find this at your local drugstore.

Bottom Right: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate. For intense skin repair I love to use this concentrate because it is rich in pure essential oils and distilled botanicals revealing vibrant skin by morning. Your skin will thank you. It's lightweight so you won't feel oily and all you need is 3-4 drops.

If you guys have any other questions about skincare please let me know!

National Lipstick Day

Yesturday was National Lipstick Day! In honor of this day, I want to share my two lipsticks I wear daily and can't live without! Pictured above is "Diva" by M.A.C. I love this vampy shade because it can be worn from day to night, it's extremely build-able, and is works great as a lip stain. Below is "Twig" by M.A.C. as well. This shade is my everyday wear. It's a great neutral and gives just enough color to brighten up your skin when you don't feel like wearing any makeup.

How To: Summer Layers

Sometimes I get bored of wearing the same old shorts and tank during the summer and am in need of layers. Here's a great summer layering trick! I'm sure every girl has a summer dress; so grab your favorite summer dress and a sheer crochet top; throw your top over your dress and voila! I've found this works best with a spaghetti strap dress and if you're feeling adventurous, choose a printed dress because that print will look great against the crochet texture. Add cute sandals or dress it up with boots and you're good to go! Feel free to share your look with me! I never want summer to end!

Summertime Blanc

Nothings better than a matching printed suit, and it's even better if it's white. This is one of my favorite tops that I own that's from Topshop; you can dress it up or down, tucked in or out, you can't go wrong. I love how the top makes the suit super fresh looking, but at the same time with the mix print of the top and suiting it keeps it young and trendy. The suit I bought from H&M a long time ago and unfortunately, being a fast fashion retailer, they don't sell it any more. Let's hope that H&M brings something like this back!

Simply Vera

(Click on blue links for items.)

I was strolling through Kohl's the other day and saw this beautiful floral summer dress from Vera Wang's summer collection for "Simply Vera" . It has four navy panels to create dimension and movement and is perfect for the day straight into the night. I dressed this down to work last week by wearing a denim vest to add some texture, paired with my favorite ankle boots by Hinge from Nordstrom. This outfit will probably be on repeat again and again this summer and I'm not even ashamed to say it. Ha.
